Born and raised in California, Michelle Young has always embodied versatility in sport and life. From volleyball and basketball to flag football and even Dragon Boat racing, her early athletic experiences shaped a foundation of teamwork, grit, and adaptability. Strength training became her constant, laying the groundwork for the powerhouse competitor she is today.

In 2018, Michelle moved to Henderson, Nevada, to pursue her doctorate in Physical Therapy—where passion met purpose. After joining CrossFit Psyched in 2019, she began competing just two years later, quickly earning recognition for her drive and discipline. Today, she stands among an elite few as one of only 17 Neurologic Clinical Specialists in the entire state of Nevada, serving the Las Vegas community with expertise and heart.

Outside of competition, Michelle channels her dedication into service—partnering with the House of Champions Foundation to help individuals with disabilities experience the power of CrossFit. Sponsored by Bangarang Training, she continues to train, compete, and inspire—proving that strength is as much about compassion and purpose as it is about performance.
